Adolescent gynecology care

When we see teens and young adults for their first annual gynecology exam, we provide a comfortable setting to ease any nerves. We offer information and tailored treatment and services to meet individual needs, including contraception, painful periods and irregular cycles.

 

Contraception management

With the help of our staff and counseling services, we can help you decide on the right birth control options for you. Our options include:

  • Birth control pills, ring, patch and injection
  • IUD insertion
  • Permanent sterilization, such as tubal ligation
  • Tubal occlusion or laparoscopic tubal ligation

Our minimally invasive and robotic surgery procedures

Our expert gynecological surgeons use the newest surgical techniques and knowledge during each procedure. The use of robotics in minimally invasive gynecology surgery has garnered popularity and is a common procedure we use.

Treatment for conditions with robotic or laparoscopic surgery includes:

  • Abnormal bleeding
  • Endometriosis

Urogynecological care

We offer a wide range of services for women's health and wellness, including a specialization called urogynecology. Urogynecological care helps manage problems that come with PFD and are associated with the pelvic floor, bladder or rectum. With PFD, you may experience weakness, tightness or other discoordination of muscles that make up the pelvic floor.

Common pelvic floor dysfunction issues that we see include:

  • Overactive bladder syndrome
  • Painful bowel movements or accidental leakage
  • Painful intercourse
  • Pelvic prolapse
  • Pelvic support issues that have returned

The birthing center’s pregnancy and childbirth classes help new parents prepare for a newborn baby and get ready for this challenging yet extremely rewarding time in their lives. Award-winning and highly-trained doulas may assist with the birthing process, providing active support for pregnant women before, during and after their baby is born. Women seeking unmedicated childbirth options can work with their doctor to create a customized birth plan that fits their needs and expectations.

Fertility care

Fertility care is a serious issue that requires a delicate touch when it comes to medical care. With our advice, education and resources, we hope that our OB/GYNs can help increase your chances of conceiving. For women who are not ovulating, we offer clomiphene treatment as well as intrauterine insemination (IUI).
