The year I slowed down and looked up

Anne was referred me to a cardiothoracic surgeon, and a few days later I found myself sitting across from Dr. Jason Shofnos with HCA HealthONE.

I’d done research. More than one person in the medical profession told me that if they were to get this surgery, they’d want Dr. Shofnos to be the one cracking their sternum and slicing out the bad part of their aorta to replace it with a graft.
