Gynecological surgery

We are proud to offer the most advanced technologies in gynecological surgery. Procedures we perform include:

• Evaluation and surgery for endometriosis, abnormal bleeding, pelvic pain
• Gynecological surgery, including minimally invasive surgery, laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, myomectomy, ovarian cystectomy, sterilization and endometrial ablation
• Robotic surgery, including hysterectomy, myomectomy, pelvic pain and endometriosis

Uterine fibroid treatment

Uterine fibroids are also known as leiomyomas. They are noncancerous growths that develop in the muscular wall of the uterus. Some women don't experience symptoms while others may face some, including excessive bleeding or pain. Treatment may include medication or surgery.

One example of a procedure that may be offered is radiofrequency ablation (RFA). It is minimally invasive and uses heat energy to destroy tissue. Two small incisions are made and an ultrasound is placed. The procedure typically takes less than an hour and you can return home the same day. With RFA, you will often experience fewer complications, shorter recovery times, minimal scarring and symptom relief.
