Care Philosophy
My philosophy of care is to engage patients and to ensure that they understand their cardiovascular problem and the approach to treatment. If a patient leaves the room without understanding their condition and plan, then I have not done my best. I strive to explain complex issues in a way that is approachable. \n \nThe heart is a fascinating organ. Cardiology is unique in the number of modalities available to look at the body. There are so many different tools available to understand a patient’s condition, and the field is always evolving in exciting ways. I really enjoy the detective work of finding answers to a problem, and it all starts with truly listening to the patient.
